We met in 1979 at Elgin Community College and married in 1984. We are both engineers who tackle boat maintenance and enhancement projects with our kids, Kent and Davi. We enjoy visits from friends and family onboard the Perseverance. We spend much of our summer months around Escanaba and Michigan's many Great Lakes, but have family and former homes in Manhattan, New Haven, Ann Arbor, Hancock, MI, Duluth, Akron and Chicago. Lori is a Cellist and president of our local community orchestra and long-time Rotarian. Jim is a former champion boomerang thrower and hurls for his Vintage Base Ball team. We both enjoy X-C skiing, biking and travel. Lori is good at birding and word puzzles. Jim is good at knots and recreational mathematics.
